I just remembered something I wanted to share with all of you.
In an blog entry I posted about my dad I told everyone that he had grabbed all of his belongings.. including his iPod. His iPod was submersed in the water when he slipped and fell. Additionally, it took two significant dents in the chrome casing.
Last week when I was at my mom’s we plugged it in and it still works! 🙂 Anyway–I think it’s cool that it still works–sorry if it seems morbid.
The GTO Club wanted to be able to play it for a special show they’re doing to honor my Dad. Maybe we can work something out.
Oh and for next year’s show they have created a new award which will be given out each year in honor of my Dad: The Glenn S. Kooyer award for Best Stationwagon in Show.
It’s the POCI (Pontiac Oakland Club International) that is planning the station wagon award, not the LOL (Land of Lakes) GTO club.
Keep us all posted as to when shows or things like that come up. It is a good way to remember your dad. I think it is super cool that the ipod is working. sort of like a message.
